about

this song was released by sonic stream on 7" white vinyl in 1999. but was never distributed. its partly about my walk to the hospital during the blizzard on 1996 in philadelphia after i was mugged. i staggered from 10th street south philly to st agnes hospital with a pretty bad head wound. After i got home from the hospital with some stitches in my head. the power went out and i had to light candles i remember being afraid i would set the house on fire in my post concussion state.
andrew sings some backing vocals on this.

lyrics

"i hope i dont burn down the house"
the blood from my ankles is falling to the ground
and your eyes are burning in the dark
all those eyes are burning in the trees
all those eyes are burning in the dark
i hope i dont burn down the house
i hope i dont burn down the house

the blood from my brow
is falling to the ground
and the colors are swirling around
and my glasses are broken on the ground
i hope i make it back to my house
i hope i make it back to my house

its not the worst night
its not the worst night
its not the worst night
its not the worst night
its not the worst night
(my best friend just called me and told me to come to his house)
its not the worst night
(my best friend just called me and told me to come to his house)
its not the worst night
(my best friend just called me and told me to come to his house)
its not the worst night
